Abstract: This application provides example multi-focal-plane image generation apparatuses, example head-up display apparatuses, example methods, and example devices. One example apparatus includes a pattern generation device and a focal length adjuster. The pattern generation device is configured to generate a light beam that carries image information, and irradiate the light beam to a surface of the focal length adjuster. The focal length adjuster is configured to perform focal length adjustment on the light beam that is irradiated to the surface of the focal length adjuster to generate a plurality of focal planes of the multi-focal-plane image generation apparatus.

Abstract: A route calculation method, device, and system. The route calculation method includes: receiving, by a first device, a service request message, where the service request message is used to request the first device to determine a transmission path of a borne service requested by the service request message to be established; and determining, by the first device, a transmission path of the service based on the service request message and first bearing capability information, where the first bearing capability information is used to indicate an actual bearing capability of each link on the transmission path. According to the foregoing solution, the system can calculate a route and configure the service based on an actual service bearing capability of each link of a network.

Abstract: The technology described herein relates to a wavelength selective switch (WSS). An output port arrangement solution of an optical fiber array of the WSS includes: centers of output ports are arranged along a curve or along a combination line that includes a line segment, and a straight line connecting centers of any two output ports on the curve or the combination line does not pass through an input port. A light beam received from the input port is diffracted to the output ports through an LCoS panel, and a straight line that all diffraction orders that are generated after the diffraction pass through intersects with the curve or the line segment, and there is only one intersection point.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to apparatuses for display. An example display apparatus includes a picture generation unit, an imaging reflector, a detection unit, and at least one processor. The picture generation unit is configured to generate an image, and send image light of the image to the imaging reflector. The imaging reflector is configured to reflect the image light to generate a virtual image of the image. The detection unit is configured to collect first signal light transmitted through the imaging reflector, where the first signal light is light reflected by an eye of a user viewing the virtual image. The at least one processor is configured to determine a location of the eye of the user based on the first signal light collected by the detection unit, where a propagation direction of the image light reflected by the imaging reflector is parallel to a propagation direction of the first signal light.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a method for controlling voltages of a liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) two-dimensional array which includes a plurality of pixel sets, and the plurality of pixel sets include a first pixel set and a second pixel set. The method includes: determining a plurality of bit sequences, where the plurality of bit sequences include a first bit sequence and a second bit sequence; controlling a voltage of the first pixel set by using the first bit sequence; and controlling a voltage of the second pixel set by using the second bit sequence, where the first pixel set and the second pixel set are in different phase cycles in a port direction of the LCoS two-dimensional array, the first pixel set and the second pixel set have a same phase, and duty ratios of the first bit sequence and the second bit sequence are the same.

Abstract: A liquid crystal on silicon, a wavelength selective switch, an alignment direction obtaining method, and a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal on silicon. The liquid crystal on silicon has a first pixel area, and a first liquid crystal located in the first pixel area. The first liquid crystal is deflected in a plane perpendicular to a first panel, and is deflected towards a first direction in a plane parallel to the first panel. An alignment direction of the first partial alignment film located in the first pixel area is deflected towards a second direction relative to a polarization direction of an incident beam, and the second direction is opposite to the first direction to reduce a loss of a deflected beam.
