    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an example antenna and an example base station. One example antenna includes a first sub-array and a second sub-array disposed adjacent to each other, where the first sub-array includes N first sub-antennas arranged in an array, and the second sub-array includes N second sub-antennas arranged in an array and connected to multiple phase shifters. Each row of the N first sub-antennas includes M first sub-antennas, each row of the N second sub-antennas includes M sub-antennas, each row of the N first antennas and each row of the N second sub-antennas are arranged in a row, and an mth first sub-antenna and an mth second sub-antenna are connected to a radio frequency unit by using a power splitter, where N is a natural number, M is a natural number less than N, and m is a natural number less than or equal to M.

    Abstract: Example data transmission methods and data transmission apparatus are provided. One example method includes receiving a precoding matrix index (PMI) by a first access network device from a terminal device. The first access network device determines a weighted precoding matrix based on the PMI and a preset matrix. Downlink data of the terminal device is precoded by the first access network device based on the weighted precoding matrix to obtain the precoded downlink data. The weighted precoding matrix is a 4×2 matrix, and values of the last two elements in a first column and the first two elements in a second column of the weighted precoding matrix are all zeros. The precoded downlink data is sent by the first access network device to the terminal device.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a method for scheduling a terminal. The method includes the following operations: receiving a precoding matrix indication PMI value and reference signal received power RSRP that are sent by user equipment; determining, based on the PMI value, grouping of a network area corresponding to the user equipment; and determining, based on the RSRP, a network area in which the user equipment is located. This application has the advantage of avoiding interference between network areas.
