    摘要: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and a method for providing a plurality of motion vectors related to an image coded in a bitstream, comprising obtaining a set of sample positions within the image, obtaining respective motion vectors associated with the set of sample positions, deriving an additional motion vector based on information coded in the bitstream, determining an additional sample position located within a triangle, which is formed by three sample positions of the set of sample positions, based on the respective motion vectors associated with the three sample positions, the triangle not including any other sample position of the set, adding the additional sample position to the set of sample positions, and associating the derived additional motion vector with the additional sample position. Such method and apparatus provide for an efficient motion flow compression and reconstruction enabling to recover some sample positions without signaling them in the bitstream.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to motion vector refinement. As a first step, an initial motion vector and a template for the block are obtained. Then, the refinement of the initial motion vector is determined by template matching with said template in a search space. The search space is located on a position given by the initial motion vector and includes one or more fractional sample positions, wherein each of the fractional sample positions belonging to the search space is obtained by interpolation filtering with a filter of a predefined tap-size assessing integer samples only within a window, said window being formed by integer samples accessible for the template matching in said search space.

    摘要: A method for constructing a Most Probable Mode (MPM) list for intra prediction, the method comprising: determining whether a left neighboring block of a current coding block is available or not; determining whether an above neighboring block of the current coding block is available or not; using a Planar mode, a DC mode, a vertical mode (VER_IDX), a horizontal mode (HOR_IDX), an intra prediction mode corresponding to the vertical mode with an offset −4, an intra prediction mode corresponding to the vertical mode with an offset 4, to obtain a value of an intra prediction mode for the current coding block when one of conditions is satisfied. The MPM list is used to obtain an index value corresponding to a prediction mode of a picture block, so as to improve coding efficiency.
