Abstract: A receiver module that is communicatively connected to a plurality of Wi-Fi receiver chains is disclosed. The receiver module is configured to selectively switch the states of a plurality of Wi-Fi receiver chains between an “ON” state and an “OFF” state based on a signal quality parameter measured by each of these receiver chains.
