Abstract: This application provides a file download method, a device, and a system, and belongs to the field of network technologies. In this application, in a three-layer system architecture including a client device, a relay device, and a server device, indication information is added to a packet, to indicate that the relay device has a file required by the client. The client device can download the file from the relay device by interacting with the relay device, so that the client device can download the file nearby. This reduces bandwidth occupied for file transfer.
