Abstract: In the method, a detection agent apparatus receives location information of a monitoring point on a service path that is sent by a detection control apparatus, where the detection agent apparatus is located in the NFV system; the detection agent apparatus obtains fault locating information from the monitoring point based on the location information of the monitoring point, where the fault locating information is information obtained by the monitoring point according to a filter criterion, and the fault locating information includes the location information of the monitoring point; and the detection agent apparatus sends the fault locating information to the detection control apparatus, where the detection control apparatus may determine a faulty monitoring point based on the fault locating information and a service model corresponding to the service path.

Abstract: This application describes a multicast packet sending method, apparatus, and system. The method includes a first multicast root node and a second multicast root node belonging to a same VRRP group. The first multicast root node receives a first multicast packet from a specified multicast source, and the second multicast root node receives a second multicast packet from the same specified multicast source, where the first multicast packet and the second multicast packet include same multicast data. The first multicast root node sends the first multicast packet to a first node based on the first multicast root node being a master root node. The second multicast root node discards the second multicast packet based on the second multicast root node being a backup root node. The method reduces waste of a network bandwidth resource.

The method includes: receiving, by a root node network element, a first link notification message; determining, based on the link status information of the first link, that the first link is congested; determining an identifier of a first leaf node network element based on a correspondence between an identifier of the first port and the identifier of the first leaf node network element; determining a service queue of the first leaf node network element based on a correspondence between the identifier of the first leaf node network element and an identifier of the service queue of the first leaf node network element; and lowering output bandwidth of the service queue of the first leaf node network element.
