Abstract: An audio encoding method and apparatus and an audio decoding method and apparatus are disclosed. In the method, a first provider edge (PE) device receives a first virtual extensible local area network (VXLAN) packet through a first point-to-point (P2P) VXLAN tunnel between the first PE device and a third PE device A customer edge (CE) device is dual-homed to the first PE device and a second PE device respectively through a first Ethernet link and a second Ethernet link. The first PE device forwards the first VXLAN packet to the second PE device through a third P2P VXLAN tunnel from the first PE device to the second PE device when there is a fault on the first Ethernet link. The first Ethernet link connected to the first PE device and a link formed by the third P2P VXLAN tunnel and the second Ethernet link have a primary/secondary relationship.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure relate to a forwarding entry establishment method for a VXLAN. A data center of the VXLAN includes a first layer 3 gateway device, a second layer 3 gateway device, and a first layer 2 gateway device separately connected to the first layer 3 gateway device and the second layer 3 gateway device. The first layer 2 gateway device is connected to a first host. The method includes: establishing, by the first layer 3 gateway device by using an exclusive IP address, an exclusive MAC address, and an exclusive VTEP identifier, a forwarding entry used for communication with the first host. In the embodiments of the disclosure, when one host directly communicates with a plurality of layer 3 gateway devices, a forwarding entry used for communication between the layer 3 gateway devices and the host is correctly established.

Abstract: A communications method and apparatus for a Virtual Extensible Local Area Network (VXLAN), where the method includes receiving, by a first layer-3 gateway device, host routing information from a second layer-3 gateway device, where the host routing information includes an Internet Protocol (IP) address of a first host, a media access control (MAC) address of the first host, and a VXLAN tunnel end point (VTEP) identifier of a next hop of the first layer-3 gateway device and that exists when the first layer-3 gateway device sends information to the first host, and forwarding, by the first layer-3 gateway device, a traffic packet destined for the first host or acting, by the first layer-3 gateway device, as an Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) proxy for the first host, based on the host routing information. Abstract: This application provides a packet transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a first transmission device, a first VXLAN packet sent by a first service device through a first virtual extensible local area network VXLAN tunnel; determining, by the first transmission device, first egress information corresponding to a first BD and a first destination media access control MAC address, based on a correspondence between the first BD, the first destination MAC address, and the first egress information; generating, by the first transmission device, a second VXLAN packet based on the first VXLAN packet and the first egress information, where the second VXLAN packet includes a second VNI and an Ethernet frame; and sending, by the first transmission device sends the second VXLAN packet to a second transmission device through a second VXLAN tunnel. This application facilitates more flexible packet transmission.

Abstract: A stereo encoding method and apparatus, and a stereo decoding method and apparatus are disclosed. The stereo encoding method includes: performing downmix processing on a left channel signal of a current frame and a right channel signal of the current frame, to obtain a primary channel signal of the current frame and a secondary channel signal of the current frame; and when determining that a frame structure similarity value falls within a frame structure similarity interval, performing differential encoding on a pitch period of the secondary channel signal by using an estimated pitch period value of the primary channel signal, to obtain a pitch period index value of the secondary channel signal, where the pitch period index value of the secondary channel signal is used to generate a to-be-sent stereo encoded bitstream.
