摘要： A composition for topical application to the oral cavity, for the use in pregnant women to reduce the risk of preterm birth, comprising an ester of vitamin E with a carboxylic acid of formula R—COOH, in which R is an alkyl radical having 1 to 19 carbon atoms, or an alkenyl or alkynyl radical having 2 to 19 carbon atoms, and an oily vehicle; the ester of vitamin E can be selected from vitamin E acetate, n-propionate or linoleate, preferably alpha-tocopheryl acetate.
