    摘要: An image reading signal processing IC is disclosed which includes three circuits to which corresponding analog image signals of three primary colors of a document read by a CCD are input. In each of the three circuits, a test pattern generating circuit is disposed between an ADC and an LVDS processing circuit. Further, the image reading signal processing IC includes an operational mode determination information input unit formed of a TG & I/F and an OR gate. An operational mode of the test pattern generating circuit is switched between a normal mode for outputting digital image data output from the ADC and a test pattern output mode for outputting digital data of a test pattern generated by the test pattern generating circuit based on operational mode determination information input from the operational mode determination information input unit.

    摘要: An image reading signal processing IC includes three circuits which independently process input analog image signals of three primary colors. Each circuit includes an ADC which converts amplified analog image signals into digital image data. Each circuit also includes an LVDS processing circuit which outputs the digital image data in a low voltage differential signaling level. Each circuit further includes a test pattern generating circuit connected between the ADC and the LVDS processing circuit for generating digital data of a test pattern. The image reading signal processing IC additionally includes an operational mode determination information input unit which inputs operational mode determination information to the test pattern generating circuit. Further, the image reading signal processing IC includes a switching unit which switches one of the digital data of the test patterns to any one or more of main scanning direction gradation pattern data and sub scanning direction gradation pattern data.

    摘要: When a light source is in off state, a gray level of image data on a pixel-by-pixel basis is generated as a first black level and an average of gray levels of a portion of the image data corresponding to optical black image portions of sensor chips is generated as a second black level. After that, when an image of an original is read, an average of gray levels of the black image data on a line-by-line basis is generated as a third black level. The first black level is subtracted from a gray level of the image data on a line-by-line basis (an offset correction), and a difference between the third black level and the second black level is added to a gray level of the image data after being subjected to the subtraction on a line-by-line basis.

The variable gain amplifier amplifies the signal output from the multiplexer circuit. The A/D converter circuit converts the amplified signal to digital data.

    摘要: A solid-state imaging device includes a pixel circuit including a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements and configured to output a signal level and a reset level, an analog correlated double sampling (CDS) circuit connected to the pixel circuit and configured to perform correlated double sampling in an analog region based on the signal level and the reset level and output a result of the correlated double sampling, an analog-digital (AD) conversion circuit connected to the analog CDS circuit and configured to convert two different analog signals output from the analog CDS circuit into two digital signals, a signal processing circuit connected to the AD conversion circuit and configured to obtain a difference between the two different digital signals output from the AD conversion circuit; and a reference voltage generating circuit to output a first reference voltage that defines a clamp level of the analog CDS circuit.
