Abstract: A method of treating a portion of a well including the steps of: (A) forming a fluid comprising: (i) an aqueous liquid phase; and (ii) a corrosion inhibitor selected from the group consisting of: (a) the leaves of henna, jewelweed, or any combination thereof; (b) an extract of the leaves of henna, jewelweed, or any combination thereof; (c) a plant source of a hydroxynaphthoquinone; (d) a hydroxynaphthoquinone; and (e) any combination an any of the foregoing; and (B) introducing the fluid into the portion of the well.
