摘要: Described herein are methods for controlling or limiting the deposition of inorganic sulfide scale in wellbore operations. In some cases, method can include introducing a treatment fluid including a cationic polymeric quaternary amine or a polyethyleneimine polymer into a treatment area of a wellbore having metal cations, such as iron, zinc, and/or lead cations, and sulfide anions and contacting the metal cations and sulfide anions with the treatment fluid to reduce or prevent formation of metal sulfide particles in the treatment area. The polymers can include poly(methacrylamido-4,4,8,8-tetramethyl-4,8-diaza-6-hydroxylnonamethylene dichloride), poly(vinylbenzyl trimethyl ammonium chloride), polydimethyldiallyl ammonium chloride, or quaternized ammonium salt polyethyleneimine.

摘要: Treatment fluids and associated methods for treating a subterranean formation. An example method includes introducing a treatment fluid into a wellbore penetrating the subterranean formation. The treatment fluid includes a competitive metal binder selected from the group consisting of polyamino polyether methylene phosphonic acid, hydoxyethylamino-di(methylene phosphonic acid), and a combination thereof; a polymer capable of forming a polymer-metal complex; and an aqueous fluid. The method further includes contacting a metal ion with the treatment fluid after introduction of the treatment fluid into the wellbore and binding the metal ion with the competitive metal binder.

摘要: Methods of fracturing a subterranean formation containing a hydrocarbon include introducing a first fracturing fluid that includes natural gas into the formation at a rate and pressure sufficient to create a complex fracture in the formation; introducing a second fracturing fluid into the formation, wherein the second fracturing fluid comprises water, a gelling agent, a foaming agent, natural gas, and proppant particulates; and allowing the second fracturing fluid to transport a portion of the proppant particulates into the complex fracture.

摘要: Methods of treating a subterranean formation. A pad fluid is introduced into a wellbore penetrating the subterranean formation to create or enhance one or more fractures in the subterranean formation. A fracturing fluid is introduced into the wellbore. The fracturing fluid includes a polymer having a hydrophobic monomer and a hydrophilic monomer. The fracturing fluid further includes a proppant and a second aqueous base fluid. The fracturing fluid does not include a crosslinker or an oxidative breaker. The fracturing fluid is broken thereby settling the proppant in the fracture.

摘要: Methods for preparing and using invert emulsions and treatment fluids including the invert emulsions are provided herein. In one or more embodiments, the methods of the present disclosure comprise providing an aqueous fluid comprising water and one or more water-soluble monomers; providing an oil-based fluid comprising a solvent and one or more polymerization surfactants, wherein the solvent comprises a linear or branched dibasic ester; combining the aqueous fluid and the oil-based fluid to form an invert emulsion that comprises an aqueous phase comprising the aqueous fluid and an oil phase comprising the oil-based fluid; and polymerizing at least a portion of the one or more water-soluble monomers in the invert emulsion.
