Abstract: A generator stator includes a housing arranged along a rotation axis, a sleeve seated in the housing and extending about the rotation axis, and a shim. The shim is arranged between the sleeve and the housing and fixes the sleeve radially relative to the housing to reduce diameter of a housing bore defined by the housing. Generators and methods of making generator stators are also described.
