    摘要: In a maintenance system for an analyzing instrument, a maintenance department remotely operates a first computer by a second computer to execute an initial inspection and a basic function inspection of the instrument. Then, an abnormality contained in the result information for every executed inspection is specified, and optimum maintenance information for solving the specified abnormality is searched in a server and extracted. Thereafter, the extracted maintenance information is sent to the first computer in the user side. Namely, an operator at the user side is only required to deal with the maintenance of the instrument in accordance with the maintenance information sent from the maintenance department.

    摘要: A gas chromatography/mass spectrometry system includes two sample introduction parts, a gas chromatography part having two columns, a column oven for housing the two columns in a parallel configuration, an interface part through which an outlet end of each of the two columns is inserted, and a mass spectrometry part. The mass spectrometry part has an ionization chamber to which the outlet ends of the columns inserted through the interface part are connected, a mass separation part, an ion detector, and a vacuum chamber for housing the ionization chamber, the mass separation part, and the detector. Because the outlet ends of the parallel columns are both connected to the ionization chamber, the carrier gas flow and line velocity are the same as though there is one column, thereby avoiding line stagnation. Since analyses can be performed selectively with a single system, results having high reliability and precision can be obtained.

    摘要: When a standard specimen including a given reference component is analyzed after a separation condition is changed, a data processing section (31) acquires an actual measurement value of a peak of a reference component that appears in a chromatogram obtained by the analysis, and estimates a deviation of the retention time of a peak of an intended component on the basis of the actual measurement value and information on the retention time of the reference component before the separation condition stored in an analysis condition information storing section (34) is changed, to correct a measurement time range of the respective ion sets of an SIM measurement parameter which is stored in an analysis condition information storing section (34). An SIM measurement is conducted according to the parameter that is corrected when analyzing the intended specimen, to thereby make it possible to conduct a desired measurement by an operator.

    摘要: A tubular insert with a small internal volume is disposed inside the vaporization chamber at the inlet of a capillary column of a gas chromatograph such that the sample with a solvent injected into the vaporization chamber is carried by a carrier gas through the insert into the column. The internal volume of the insert is such that the retention time of the carrier gas through the insert is less than 4 seconds. A heater is controlled to maintain the temperature inside the vaporization chamber within a specified range above the boiling point of the solvent as the sample is injected into the vaporization chamber, and this temperature is subsequently raised to a final temperature above the boiling points of the components to be analyzed. The carrier gas pressure is temporarily increased for better efficiency as the sample is injected.
