摘要: A winder for a papermaking machine comprising a cylinder over which there is guided the paper web which is to be wound-up. A reel-spool receives the wound-up paper roll or package and a contact or press device presses the reel-spool in the direction of the cylinder. An endless band arrangement is guided such that it extends over the cylinder between its surface and the paper web, the band arrangement in conjunction with the paper web being wrapped about part of the circumference or outer surface of the cylinder and extends between the cylinder and the reel-spool or, as the case may be, the paper roll or package wound upon the reel-spool. The band arrangement also encloses the paper roll or the reel-spool along part of its circumference.

摘要: A wire is passed over the suction breast roll between the formed paper web and the doffer belt or the previously formed paper webs and doffer belt. The doffer felt is disposed in an unencumbered fashion over each of a plurality of consecutive suction breast rolls. The wire is removed from the web at a downstream point outside the dewatering influence of each breast roll. Stripping of the wire from the paper web is aided by various suction devices or couch rolls at this latter point.

摘要: The press section of a papermaking machine for dewatering a paper web comprises two separate, successively arranged extended nip press locations. Both of the extended nip press locations contain at least one respective felt which travels together with the paper web through the associated extended nip press location. The paper web is guided from the first extended nip press location to a web removal device contacted by an upper felt of the second extended nip press location, and from that location the paper web can move to the second extended nip press location.

摘要: A twin screen paper forming apparatus is provided having upper and lower screens moving in a first direction and wrapping around a portion of a leading forming roller positioned at the beginning of a forming zone where the upper and lower screens converge to form a twin screen. At least one stationary forming element is positioned downstream of the leading forming roller to contact with the lower screen. A water guide element is also located in the region of the forming zone approximately at the start of the forming zone. At least one forming rail contacts the upper screen and a pulp suspension discharge nozzle is positioned, to prevent preliminary draining, upstream of the location where the upper and lower screens converge.

摘要: The wet section of a twin wire papermaking machine is provided with an open forming roll at the lower wire and with the combination of a suction box at the lower wire and a vacuum suction box at the upper wire. Furthermore, by selecting the elevational position or level of the individual wire sections there can be obtained particularly advantageous conditions for the operation of the papermaking machine throughout a wide field of application, especially heavy types of paper at relatively low operating velocities of the papermaking machine. Gap-former and hybrid-former constructions of the papermaking machine are possible.

摘要: A twin-wire papermaking machine contains a headbox for forming a first fiber ply which is essentially downwardly dewatered at a section of a first wire. At the end of this wire section, forwardly or upstream of the inbound or on-running location of a second wire there is arranged a second headbox for forming a second fiber ply which is essentially upwardly dewatered along a subsequently arranged common path of both wires. The common path advantageously extends over an essentially water impervious, convex domed contact surface of a slide shoe and/or a jacket surface of a guide cylinder or roll. During operation, the second fiber ply is deposited upon the already extensively dewatered first fiber ply and upon passage through the common path of both wires this second fiber ply is dewatered upwardly away from the first fiber ply. This enables separate dewatering of both fiber plies, and there is particularly avoided deflocculation of individual fibers, and thus, impairment of the fiber formation in the initially formed ply.
