    摘要: A magnetic resonance surface coil unit has at least one magnetic resonance coil surrounded by a closed housing wherein the housing has at least one recessed grip, and the recessed grip is formed by an oblong access opening to the cavity arranged inside of the housing. The cavity extends behind the access opening to one side in the direction of a shorter dimension of the access opening, such that a region of the housing bordering the access opening forms a grip part of the recessed grip. The recessed grip can be arranged in a region surrounded by a magnetic resonance coil.

The longitudinal second antenna elements extend with the longitudinal axes transverse to the first direction disposed in parallel next to one another in a second extending surface that runs essentially in parallel to the first extending surface. Each of the second antenna elements are coupled at first and second end areas to a conductive element to form a second conductor loop with the conductive element. The second antenna elements are disposed to overlap an adjacent first antenna loop in each case.

The reception arrangement operates as a resistive arrangement when the radio-frequency energy is being radiated by the transmission arrangement, and operates as a superconducting arrangement when the magnetic resonance signals are being received thereby.
