    摘要: A percussion tool includes a housing part having a frontal end provided with an opening; a tool bit guide supported in alignment with the opening; and a tool bit slidably supported in the tool bit guide and projecting from the housing part through the opening. The tool bit is arranged for a reciprocating motion parallel to the longitudinal tool bit axis and transverse excursions substantially perpendicular to the tool bit axis. A transverse guide is attached to the housing part and displaceably receives an outer seal composed of a transverse slide. The transverse slide has an aperture through which the tool bit passes. The transverse slide and the tool bit are arranged such that the transverse slide and the tool bit move as a unit during the transverse excursions of the tool bit. There is further provided an inner seal disposed in the housing part between the transverse slide and the tool bit guide externally thereof. The inner seal surrounds the tool bit and is in a resilient contacting relationship therewith.

    摘要: A fluid-operated striker assembly includes a working cylinder and a striker piston slidably received in the working cylinder for executing working (forward) and return strokes. The striker piston delivers a blow to a tool bit during the working stroke when the striker piston is either in a limit position or in an advanced position which is beyond the limit position in the direction of the working stroke. A control arrangement applies an alternating fluid pressure to the striker piston to execute the working and return strokes. Further, a precontrol arrangement is provided for affecting the control arrangement dependent on whether the striker piston has exceeded its limit position. The precontrol arrangement causes the control arrangement to operate the striker piston with a normal working stroke as long as the striker piston delivers a blow to the tool bit in the limit position, and causes the control arrangement to operate the striker piston with a short working stroke--whose length is less than that of the normal working stroke--as long as the striker piston delivers a blow to the tool bit in the advanced position.

    摘要: A hydraulic striking device (1) includes a percussion piston (3) which reciprocates in an operating cylinder (2) and strikes a bit (4). The reciprocation is governed by a control valve (10) which is connected to the operating cylinder by a control conduit (27). A holding valve (30) in the control conduit has three connections (27a, 27b, 31): one with the control valve, one with the operating cylinder, and one with the return conduit (17). The connections (27a, 31) which are connected with the operating cylinder and with the control conduit are axially aligned and form the outlets of a hollow cavity (53) in which a preferably spherical movable valve body (54) is disposed, the cross-sectional area of the valve body being smaller than that of the cavity. The connection (27b) with the control valve opens radially into the cavity. If the valve body rests against the valve seat (55) which faces the return conduit, the axis of the connection (27b) passes through that half of the valve body which faces this valve seat. When the striking device operates, energy that is reflected from the bit to the percussion piston can be utilized for the following stroke and thus the total performance of the striking device is increased.
