摘要: A video image transfer device (2) includes transfer means (4) for switchedly transferring to a display device (9) a plurality of video signals acquired from at least one image pickup device (20), assigning means (8) for dividing a refresh rate of the display device (9) into portions and assigning the portions among the plurality of video signals, and transfer control means (5) for controlling the transfer means (4) in such a manner that each of the video signals is transferred to the display device (9) at a timing according to the portion of the refresh rate assigned to each of the video signals. This makes it possible to prevent a dropping frame and an insufficient resolution of an important video image.

摘要: A video image transfer device includes a transfer section arranged to selectively transfer to a display device a plurality of video signals acquired from at least one image pickup device, an assigning section arranged to divide a refresh rate of the display device into portions and assign the portions among the plurality of video signals, and a transfer controller arranged to control the transfer section in such a manner that each of the video signals is transferred to the display device at a timing according to the portion of the refresh rate assigned to each of the video signals. This makes it possible to prevent a dropped frame and an insufficient resolution of an important video image.

摘要: A lighting device comprising: a light emitting module including a plurality of electrically connected light emitting bars each having a plurality of semiconductor light emitting devices; a chassis for containing the light emitting module and having a discharge opening; a reflection sheet arranged in the chassis; and a brightness nonuniformity reduction unit, wherein the light emitting bar includes: a band plate-shaped substrate; a wiring formed on one surface of the substrate; the plurality of semiconductor light emitting devices; and first and second connectors formed in proximity to opposing shorter sides on the one surface of the substrate, wherein the reflection sheet has at least a plurality of corresponding holes through which the plurality of semiconductor light emitting devices are inserted, and wherein the brightness nonuniformity reduction unit is arranged in proximity to a position of the first and second connectors of each light emitting bar.

An LED module comprising one or a plurality of light source sections with a high brightness peak value and a large light and dark contrast difference, and an LED module comprising one or a plurality of light source sections with a low brightness peak value and a small light and dark contrast difference, are alternately arranged. The one or the plurality of light source sections comprise a white resist arranged on a substrate region around LED, as a reflection material. The light source section with a large brightness peak value and a large light and dark contrast difference, and the light source with a low brightness peak value and a small light and dark contrast difference, are formed by the difference in a reflection rate of the white resist.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for discriminating between figure areas, e.g., half-tone photographs, drawings and the like, and text areas in an image. More specifically, an image is processed to determine the difference between maximum and minimum brightnesses in convolutions thereof. When the difference between the maximum and minimum brightnesses is less than or equal to a predetermined level, the center pixel in the convolution is determined to be a half-tone pixel. A half-tone area is detected by determining areas of the image having at least a predetermined number of half-tone pixels. In another aspect of the invention, contiguous areas of the image having fewer than a predetermined number of configuration pixels are determined to be vacant areas having neither figure nor character information.
