摘要: A laser-radar type distance measuring equipment for a motor vehicle is shown, which comprises a probe unit including a laser emitting device and a reflected laser receiving device. The probe unit is mounted on the vehicle body. A steering angle sensor is used for producing an information signal representative of the steered angle of the vehicle. A so-called performance changing device is employed for changing the performance of the probe unit. A control unit controls the performance changing device in accordance with the information signal issued from the steering angle sensor.

摘要: A fluid outlet structure includes cavities formed in both inner sidewalls of the outlet having control fluid passages from which control fluid is jetted toward a center of the outlet to deflect fluid flowing through the outlet. According to the invention, the fluid outlet structure comprises one or more supplementary fluid control members including supplementary cavities having respective supplementary control fluid passages, and communicating pipes for communicating the cavities in the sidewalls and supplementary cavities of the supplementary fluid control members having the fluid passages opening in the same directions, thereby obtaining deflected fluid flows with great deflecting angles.

摘要: A method of forming an invisible frangible tear seam in a multi-layered vehicle trim panel for deployment of an air bag therethrough. The method involves the use of a jig or mask that is configured in the desired shape of the tear seam. The tear seam is produced by providing a first polymeric layer on a trim panel mold surface and then positioning the jig or mask on the first polymeric layer. Next a second polymeric layer is applied to the first polymeric layer using a spray process. After the second polymeric layer has been applied the jig or mask is removed, leaving a foot-print of the jig or mask which defines the tear seam. The resulting bi-layered structure is joined to a support panel using an adhesive foam to form a multi-layered vehicle trim panel.

摘要: Hereindisclosed is an airflow distributing device which comprises a main duct in which air heating means and air cooling means are disposed; a casing located at a downstream end of the main duct and having therein three cells which are respectively communicated with selected portions of the passenger compartment through respective transmitting ducts, the casing being arranged to allow respective openings of the cells to face toward the chamber defined by the main duct; and a mode plate having a size to sufficiently cover the openings of the cells and having an opening therein, the mode plate being rotatably fixed at its center portion to the casing such that the opening thereof is able to open to at least selected one of the openings of the cells upon rotation thereof.
