摘要: Rechargeable battery for a machine tool containing at least one energy storage cell and also one switching apparatus. The rechargeable battery contains a bypass circuit which can be operated in a first and second mode, wherein the bypass circuit is in an inoperative state in the first mode, so that an electric current with a first current value passes from the at least one energy storage cell to the machine tool via the switching apparatus, and wherein the bypass circuit is in an operating state in the second mode, so that an electric current with a second current value passes from the at least one energy storage cell to the machine tool via the bypass apparatus, and wherein the first current value is greater than the second current value. The bypass circuit contains a comparator for comparing a current value which is required by the machine tool with a stored current threshold value, so that, via switching element, the bypass circuit is switched to the first mode when the current value which is required by the machine tool exceeds the threshold value and the bypass circuit is switched to the second mode when the current value which is required by the machine tool falls below the threshold value.

摘要: A method for controlling a rechargeable battery on a machine tool contains the steps of: setting the control electronics of the rechargeable battery to a deactivation mode, with the result that no current flows from the rechargeable battery into the control electronics and to the machine tool; transmitting at least one signal from the machine tool to the rechargeable battery via the first and second communication lines; activating the wake-up circuit for activating control electronics by detecting a voltage value from the first or second communication line, wherein the voltage value corresponds to either the dominant or the recessive state of the first or second communication line; setting the control electronics of the rechargeable battery to an activation mode via the wake-up circuit; and enabling current to be drawn from the rechargeable battery by the machine tool. A system containing a rechargeable battery and a machine tool, a rechargeable battery and a machine tool for carrying out the method are also provided.

摘要: A pouch cell having at least one connection electrode via which the pouch cell can be electrically contacted, wherein the pouch cell includes a current interrupter configured, by virtue of a thermally induced change in its geometric dimensioning, at least temporarily to interrupt drawing of current via the connection electrode. Preferably, the current interrupter includes a material having a negative coefficient of thermal expansion, wherein the thermally induced change in its geometric dimensioning is brought about by a change in a pouch cell temperature.

摘要: Method for charging an accumulator having an energy storage cell, a data interface and a wake-up circuit. A charging apparatus contains a data interface, a controller, a timer and a switch apparatus. The data interfaces are connected to one another via a communication line for differential communication between the accumulator and the charging apparatus. The method includes setting the timer to a predetermined period of time; setting the control electronics of the accumulator to a deactivation mode; sending at least one signal from the charging apparatus to the accumulator via the communication line after the predetermined period of time has elapsed; activating the wake-up circuit for activating control electronics by detecting a voltage value from the communication line, wherein the voltage value is consistent with either the dominant or recessive state of the communication line; setting the control electronics to an activation mode; and requesting or releasing a charging current from the charging apparatus by means of the accumulator.

摘要: Method for communication between a power tool and a rechargeable battery, wherein the rechargeable battery includes a controller unit having a first transceiver, and the power tool includes a control unit having a second transceiver. The method involves the method steps of emitting a first signal from the first to the second transceiver; emitting a second signal from the first to the second transceiver after a predetermined period of time has elapsed; shifting the power tool from a first operating state into a second operating state if the number of received signals in a predetermined period of time reaches a predetermined threshold value, and/or emitting a signal to the first transceiver in order to shift the rechargeable battery from a first operating state into a second operating state if the number of received signals in a predetermined period of time reaches a predetermined threshold value. System for performing the method for communication, including a power tool and rechargeable battery. Rechargeable battery for performing the method for communication. Power tool for performing the method for communication.
