摘要： A cover apparatus of a cassette tape recorder comprising first and second covers rotatable to be openable and closable with respect to a body of the tape recorder, the first cover having a holder to encase a tape cassette so that the tape cassette encased in the cassette holder is rotatable in accordance with the rotation of the first cover. The first and second covers are coupled to each other through a slider engaged with the second cover and slidable along a side surface of the first cover. The first cover rotates to cover the entire tape cassette in cooperation with the second cover when the second cover is closed with respect to the tape recorder body. The second cover vertically moves by a predetermined height with respect to a surface of the first cover in accordance with a first sliding operation of the slider when the first cover is opened by a first predetermined angle with respect to the tape recorder body and horizontally moving a predetermined distance with respect to the surface of the first cover in accordance with a second sliding operation of the slider when said the cover is opened by a second predetermined angle greater than the first predetermined angle so that a portion of the tape cassette protrudes from a tip portion of the second cover. This arrangement allows the easily insertion and removal into and from the holder of the first cover.

摘要： A cover apparatus of a cassette tape recorder comprising first and second covers rotatable to be openable and closable with respect to a body of the tape recorder. The first cover has a holder to encasing a tape cassette so that the tape cassette encased in the holder is rotatable in accordance with the rotation of the first cover, a length of the first cover in longitudinal directions being smaller than that of the tape cassette so that a portion of the tape cassette protrudes from the first cover when being encased in the holder. The second cover is arranged to be engaged with the first cover to be rotatable together with the first cover and movable along a surface of the first cover. The second cover, together with the first cover, rotates to cover the entire tape cassette when the first cover is closed with respect to the tape recorder body, and further the second cover moves with respect to the first cover when the first cover is opened with respect thereto, so that the portion of the tape cassette protrudes from tip portions of the first and second covers. This arrangement allows the user to easily take out the tape cassette from the tape recorder.

摘要： A cover opening/closing device prevents backlash when the cover is closed, by engaging the cover with a lock cam and urging the lock cam to be rotated into positions by a toggle spring. For this object, this device comprises a lock cam which is rotated about a rotational shaft provided in a main body, an operation lever which rotates the lock cam to open the cover, and a toggle spring which is designed to maintain the lock cam in urged states at the respective cover-opened and cover-closed positions. The lock cam can be kept urged in the cover-closed state.

摘要： It is aimed to attain compatibility between a size reduction, a thickness reduction of a portable terminal and the ensuring of an energizing force is attained. An upper case 2 is coupled with a connecting portion 4 to proceed in a predetermined direction with respect to a lower case 3. Two cases 2, 3 have a close state in which they are overlapped mutually and an open state in which the upper case 2 is extended by moving in a predetermined direction. One end of a coil portion 33A is fixed to a second hole 46 and the other end of the coil portion 33A is fixed to a third hole 50, and the connecting portion 4 has a torsion coil spring 33 that applies an energizing force to two cases 2, 3 such that the cases 2, 3 are brought into the close state or the open state. The coil portion 33A is arranged in a clearance 56 that is formed by a part of two cases 2, 3 when the two cases oppose to each other in the moving direction, and the clearance 56 is arranged in a vicinity on a predetermined direction with respect to the third hole 50 in the close state.

A key sheet (13) of the operating portion is stuck to a frame (6) sliding in a first casing (1). A cam (12) is provided in association with a first rotational axis (9). When a second casing (2) is opened in the longitudinal direction, the rotation of the first rotational axis (9) together with the second casing (2) is used to shift the frame (6) by the movement of the cam (12). The representation of the operating portion such as the ten-key is changed from the arrangement of figures for selecting a channel to the arrangement of figures for a telephone and the direction of the representation is also changed to that of a representation rotated by 90 degrees.

In a portable terminal 10, since a first coupling shaft 41 for coupling a first housing 20 with a coupling portion 40 is disposed between an operation surface 20a of the first housing 20 and an outer surface 20b on the opposite side of the operation surface 20a, the coupling portion 40 does not protrude with respect to the operation surface 20a of the first housing 20. Thus, there is little possibility that the fingers of a user interferes with the coupling portion 40 in the laterally opened state. Thus, the operability of a user in the laterally opened state can be improved as compared with the background art. Further, in the portable terminal 10, since the effective area of an operation portion 21 with respect to the flat area of the first housing 20 can be secured to be large, it becomes possible to enlarge the sizes of operation buttons 21a, 21b and the arrangement interval thereof and hence the degree of freedom of the design is improved.
