摘要: A magnetic field detection device including a magnetic body (magnetic flux guide) provided for adjusting a magnetic field to be applied to a magneto-resistance element. A shape of an on-substrate magnetic body in plan view is a tapered shape on one end portion side and a substantially funnel shape on another end portion side opposite the one end portion, the another end portion being larger in width than the one end portion, and a magneto-resistance element is disposed in front of an output-side end portion. In the on-substrate magnetic body, a contour of a tapered portion is not linear like a funnel, but has a curved shape in which a first curved portion protruding outward with a gentle curvature and a second curved portion protruding inward with a curvature similar to that of the first curved portion are continuously formed.

摘要: A data base retrieval system includes a memory for storing vicinity feature values of data records as search (or retrieval) objects of the data records. The vicinity feature values indicate a correspondence between data characters of the data records which are in the same vicinity. A searching device obtains matching degrees between a vicinity feature value of a search (or retrieval) key and the vicinity feature values of the search objects of the data records. Data record numbers are output arranged in a descending order of the matching degrees. Since phase information of data (position information indicating the position of a search key in a record) as a factor for prolonging the search time upon execution of full-record direct searching is abstracted by a vicinity feature value calculation, a high-speed and fuzzy searching operation can be performed so that the search time depends only on the length of the search key information, and does not depend on the volume of data.

摘要: A natural circulation type evaporative cooling electric power cable line having a circulation system for the cooling medium wherein a cooling medium passage within the electric power cable line has an inlet and an outlet respectively connected with a cooling unit positioned at a level higher than the cooling medium passages inlet of the cable by means of a feeding pipe and a return pipe with a liquefiable gas cooling medium sealed therein. At least a riser portion of the return pipe leading to the cooling unit is installed below the level of the cooling medium return passage outlet of the cable, and the return pipe is provided with a device for boosting circulation force without positive displacement mechanism (such as a pump or the like), so as to make the cooling medium circulate even in a low load current region by exceeding the current allowable without cooling for that cable.
