    摘要: An NMR probe permits measurements to be made with its inner coil without replacing the probe. The NMR probe has three coils disposed to surround a sample tube. An inner coil can resonate with the HF and LF. An intermediate coil can resonate with the HF and LF, and produces an RF magnetic field perpendicular to the RF field produced by the inner coil. An outermost coil can resonate at least at a lock frequency. The outermost coil produces an RF magnetic field which is perpendicular to the RF field produced by the intermediate coil but which is coincident in direction with the RF field produced by the inner coil.

    摘要: To prevent generation of corona discharge at terminals of high voltage resistive wires used as ignition cords, a metallic cap is fixed to at least one exposed core wire end by a bonding agent, and further a metallic terminal is fitted to the metallic cap and caulked to the metallic cap and the insulating material simultaneously. The core wire end is thereby sufficiently buried in the bonding agent and protected by the terminal.

    摘要: A small-sized, inexpensive automatic sample exchange device for use with an NMR spectrometer. The exchange device has a mechanism acting to convey sample tubes and also to grip them. The exchange device includes a disk plate located just above a sample inlet hole formed in the spectrometer. The disk plate has a fringe portion provided with a recess. The sample tubes are inserted into a given number of sleeves, which are mounted to a turntable and to the disk plate. An ultrasonic motor rotates the turntable, the disk plate, and the sleeves integrally. When the sleeves register with the recess in the disk plate, the fringe portion of the disk plate does not protrude into holes formed in the sleeves. When the sleeves do not register with the recess, the fringe portion protrude into the holes in the sleeves, thus gripping the sample tubes.

    摘要: There is disclosed an NMR cell system for supercritical fluid measurements. This cell system has an NMR cell in which convection is prevented. A reactive gas and a reactive liquid can be smoothly introduced into the NMR cell. The oxygen (air) inside the NMR cell can be removed before measurement. The NMR cell system comprises a cylindrical cell, a cell holder, and an external pumping system. The cylindrical cell and the cell holder are made of a nonmagnetic material that withstands high temperatures, high pressures, and strong acidity. A pipe is mounted inside the cell holder to connect the external pumping system into the cell. A high-pressure cell for use with an NMR spectrometer is also disclosed. This high-pressure cell comprises a pressure-proof cell for receiving a sample, a pressure transfer tube for transmitting pressure to the sample in the cell, and a coupling portion for coupling together the pressure-proof cell and the tube. The pressure-proof cell is detachably mounted to the coupling portion via a sealing member.

    摘要: There is disclosed an NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) probe having a support that produces no NMR background signal, has heat resistance, does not distort homogeneous static magnetic field, has a low dielectric loss, and is easy to machine. The NMR probe has a sample bobbin on which a detector coil is mounted, as well as the support described above. The support holds the sample bobbin. The support is plated with a metal to prevent generation of NMR background signals. The support has a bushing equipped with a hole having a diameter substantially equal to that of an extraction line extending from the detector coil. The hole passes the extraction line. The bushing is made of an insulative material of a low magnetic susceptibility. Thus, leakage of air from the hole is prevented. At the same time, the support and the extraction line are electrically insulated from each other.
