    摘要: [The present invention] provides a surface treatment method for recorded matter which can improve the weather resistance characteristics such as light resistance, gas resistance and the like of recorded matter in which images are recorded on the recording medium, as well as providing a surface-treated product using this surface treatment method, and a surface treatment apparatus. The surface treatment method of the present invention is characterized in that the surface of recorded matter in which images are recorded on a recording medium is treated using a specified treatment agent. The abovementioned treatment agent is a treatment agent which contains one or more active constituents selected from the group consisting of sulfur compounds, nitrogen compounds, fluorine compounds, natural resins and synthetic resins, or a treatment agent comprising water or an organic solvent.

    摘要: An ink-jet recording material having on a support at least an ink-receiving layer, with the ink-receiving layer being comprised of a light resistance-imparting layer as a lower layer and a coloration layer as an upper layer. Herein, the light resistance-imparting layer comprises a light-resistance imparting chemical constituted of 1 to 10 parts by weight of a benzotriazole compound as ultraviolet absorbent, 1 to 8 parts by weight of magnesium sulfate and 1 to 10 parts by weight of zinc oxide in combination with 100 parts by weight of an ink absorbing pigment, and besides, the coloration layer contains no light resistance-imparting chemicals.

The ink jet recording sheet includes: a paper supporting medium made by machining pulp; an undercoating layer including at least a pigment and an adhesive; and an ink receiving layer including at least a pigment and an adhesive, the undercoating layer and the ink receiving layer being disposed on at least one surface of the paper supporting medium, and the ink receiving layer being located outermost thereof, wherein the undercoating layer includes titanium dioxide as the pigment and at least one emulsion type adhesive selected from acryl polymers, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, or vinyl acetate polymers; and the ink receiving layer includes silica having an average secondary particle size of 3 to 11 μm as the pigment, and a cationic ink fixing agent.

The ink absorption layer includes a thioether-based compound, and a polyolefin resin layer at a side of the substrate at which the ink absorption layer is to be provided includes an fluorescent brightening agent and a white pigment. A solid content coating amount of the colloidal silica is 0.05 to 0.3 g/m2, and a solid content coating amount of the polyurethane resin is 0.8 to 1.5 g/m2. A 20° glossiness of a blank portion of a face of the recording material that features the ink absorption layer is 40 to 60%.
