摘要： A system and method of providing multimedia communication services is disclosed. In a particular embodiment, the method includes receiving contextual information including a subscriber identification associated with a wireline communication device at an intelligent service switch (ISS) of an integrated wireline-wireless (IWW) network from a network edge device, where the network edge device has detected a service request at the wireline communication device. The method also includes determining at least one multimedia communication service based on the contextual information and at least one service filter associated with the subscriber identification.

摘要： A third-party profile service based on a proxy server model is described, where a user's profile service resides at a URL, in contrast to a profile service that requires federation identity. A profile service is provided that augments location-based services offered by service providers targeting mobile users via, for example, wireless and Wifi Networks. Additional personalization is driven by identity/profile services. Participants in the scenario are not required to share an identity or profile (i.e., static federation is not required). The user establishes a single profile with a trusted provider, hands-off solicitations to a profile agent that operates on behalf of the user to apply policies and preferences. The agent also provides privacy and anonymity (opaqueness).

摘要： In an embodiment, a system and method permit an IPTV subscriber to display on a channel of an IPTV network video data from a subscriber video database. The system may include, in addition to the IPTV network and the subscriber database, an IPTV server and an IPTV set top box. The IPTV set top box is configured to receive commands causing the IPTV set top box to retrieve video data from an IPTV subscriber database, display the video data on an IPTV display unit; and to transmit the video data over an IPTV network to an IPTV server. The IPTV server is configured to transmit the video data from the IPTV server over the IPTV network such that the video data is displayable on a channel of the IPTV network.
