    摘要： A sheet folding apparatus having a Z-folding function which incluses a sheet conveyance device for conveying a paper sheet having an image formed thereon and a stopping member capable of moving for adjusting the position thereof provided in a conveyance path in order to stop a paper sheet conveyed by the sheet conveyance device at the leading edge colliding against the stopping member, and forms a fold by introducing the buckle portion of the paper sheet formed by the stopping member between a roller pair composed of two folding rollers and gripping by the rollers. The sheet folding apparatus is provided with a controller for temporarily reducing the rotating speed of each of the folding rollers, at a timing when the paper sheet is gripped between the roller pair.

    摘要： In an sheet finishing apparatus for receiving a sheet on which an image has been formed by an image forming apparatus, and for ejecting the sheet after a front side thereof is reversed, the sheet finishing apparatus includes: a sheet conveyor for conveying the sheet fed from the image forming apparatus downstream; a sheet reversing device for receiving the sheet conveyed by the sheet conveyor, and for reversing the front side of the sheet by rotation; a sheet holder provided on a peripheral portion of the sheet reversing device for holding a leading edge portion of the sheet conveyed by the sheet conveyor, the sheet holder capable of being opened or closed; a sheet stopper for blocking the leading edge portion of the sheet to be stopped at a position where the front side of the sheet is reversed by a rotation of the sheet reversing device; and a sheet stacking member for stacking the sheet separated from the sheet reversing device by a further rotation of the reversing device after the leading edge of the sheet is blocked by the sheet stopper.

    摘要： A sheet processing apparatus has a function of stapling sheets together, wherein the sheets are fed from an image forming apparatus one by one after images are formed on the sheets. The sheet processing apparatus includes a stapler to staple the sheets together, a sheet guide which guides the sheets along a sheet transporting path from the image forming apparatus to a position at which the sheets are stapled by the stapler, and a reference surface against which edges of the sheets are butted to stop movement of the sheets. The sheets are guided along the sheet transporting path by the sheet guide and the edges of the sheets are butted against the reference surface at a same position relative to a sheet conveying direction, irrespective of whether the sheet processing apparatus is in a stapling mode in which the stapler staples the sheets or a non-stapling mode in which the stapler does not staple the sheets, and irrespective of sizes of the sheets.

    摘要： A sheet finishing apparatus for finishing a sheet, on which an image has been formed, conveyed from an image forming apparatus, the sheet finishing apparatus includes: a sheet ejecting member for ejecting the sheet after finishing; and an exit tray for receiving the sheet ejected by the sheet ejecting member after finishing is conducted. The exit tray includes a movable exit tray member on which the sheet is stacked, and a stationary exit tray member for supporting the movable exit tray member. The movable exit tray member has a sheet stacking surface on which the sheet is stacked, and a stopper portion provided adjacent to the sheet ejecting member to bring an edge of the sheet into contact with the stopper portion. The movable exit tray member is pivotally supported around a supporting shaft provided on a leading edge portion of the stationary exit tray member. An edge portion of the movable exit tray member, which is adjacent to the sheet ejecting means, can be moved upward or downward according to the number of sheets stacked on the movable exit tray.

    摘要： An automatic paper feeding mechanism and an automatic paper feeding device incorporating the mechanism are provided that enable a stack of document sheets to be automatically fed into a shredder by at least one disk-shaped claw member in lots of a specified maximum number of sheets for shredding by the shredder, simply by setting the stack in the paper feeder. The automatic paper feeding mechanism is adapted to be supplied with rotational power by a shredder nit having intermeshed cutting blades for supplying paper sheets to the shredder unit in lots of two or more. It is equipped on at least one side face of a paper feed roller of a paper feeding section with a disk-shaped claw member formed with sharp portions for automatically supplying paper sheets to the shredder unit under piercing.

    摘要： A shredder equipped with paper feeder comprises a shredder unit including a pair of intermeshed cutting cylinders driven by a power source and a paper feeder, which paper feeder has a cover, a paper feeding tray on which paper sheets are set and held, a lifter unit pivotally mounted on a base of the paper feeding tray to be vertically movable, a first feed roller for feeding out multiple paper sheets from the paper feeding tray, a separator wall for controlling the number of paper sheets fed to approximately the number the shredder can shred at one time, a second feed roller for feeding forward the paper sheets passed by the separator wall, a control unit for feeding from the second feed roller a number of paper sheets not greater than the number the shredder can shred at one time, a third feed roller and fourth feed roller for nipping and transporting to the shredder the paper sheets exiting the control unit, and a control switch for controlling the operation of the first feed roller and second feed roller. The shredder with paper feeder enables a stack of document sheets to be automatically fed into the shredder and shredded in lots of a specified maximum number of sheets simply by setting the stack in the paper feeder.
