摘要: An organic TFT including an organic film, first and second electrodes each disposed in contact with opposite surfaces of the organic film each other; and a third electrode disposed at a specified distance from each of the first and second electrodes, the third electrode being applied with a voltage to control current flowing from one of the first and the second electrodes to the other through the organic film; and the organic film including a compound represented by general formula [1]. In this TFT, the carrier moves from one of the first and the second electrodes to the other in the direction of the film thickness of the organic film. The device structure realizes the enough short channel length. The organic film provides the higher mobility, thereby the organic TFT with the sufficiently higher speed response is realized.

摘要: A light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof and a display used the light emitting device, in which fine patterning for the light emitting device is realized by a simple process and the light leakage is prevented and the efficiency at extracting light is increased, are provided. The light emitting device provides an organic electroluminescent (EL) device in which electrodes and a luminescent layer are formed, a diffraction grating or a zone plate, and a filter. Light emitted from the luminescent layer transmits through the diffraction grating or the zone plate, which is formed with a designated grating pitch, or is reflected at the diffraction grating or the zone plate. With this, the transmitting or reflecting light is controlled to be in a designated angle region. And when the light is transmitted through the filter, light having different color tone and chromaticity from those of the light emitted from the luminescent layer is extracted.

摘要: A specific bis(diarylamino)arylene compound expressed in the following general formula [1.1] is used as a constituent material of an organic EL device. By this, luminescent brilliance and EL property are improved, and further, reduction in luminescent property is suppressed, and durability is improved. (wherein, Ar1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group having 5 to 42 carbon atoms: at least one of Ar2 to Ar3 independently represents a group expressed in the following general formula [1.2]; and the remaining group(s) of Ar2 to Ar5 independently represents an aryl group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms, and at least one of Ar2 to Ar5 has at least one hydrocarbon group which may include oxygen atom(s).) (wherein, each of R1 to R11 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent.)
