摘要： The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of muscle disease comprising a Panax ginseng berry extract as an active ingredient. The composition of the present invention alleviates the decrease in muscle weight and muscle fiber cross-sectional area caused by muscle atrophy, and reduces the increase in expression of MuRF-1 (Muscle RING-finger protein-1) and atrogin-1, which are involved in proteolysis of muscle proteins, so that it can be effectively used to prevent, ameliorate or treat muscle disease.
