摘要： An n-th stage (wherein, n is an integer) of the stages of a gate driving circuit includes a pull-up part, a first variable mode part and a second variable mode part. At least one of the first and second variable mode parts includes a variable element. The variable element comprises a first thin-film transistor (TFT) turned on in response to a first level voltage of the first or second direction signal, a second TFT applying the first or second direction signal to a control part of the pull-up part in response to an output signal of a previous stage or an output signal of a next stage, and a third TFT connected to the second TFT through the first TFT.

摘要： A liquid crystal display (“LCD”) device includes a display panel, a data driving part, and at least one first light-blocking part and at least one second light-blocking part. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels and a plurality of data lines. The pixels are arranged in a column direction and a row direction. At least one of the data lines extends in a zigzag shape along the column direction to be discontinuously disposed between two adjacent columns of the pixels. The at least one data line is electrically connected to two of the pixels that are adjacent in the row direction. The second light-blocking part is thinner than the first light-blocking part. The first light-blocking part and the second light-blocking are repeatedly disposed on an area between two adjacent columns of the pixels. The data driving part applies a data signal to the data lines.

摘要： A color filter substrate for a liquid crystal display (LCD) includes a substrate having a non-pixel region and a pixel region, a black matrix and a light blocking color filter layered in the non-pixel region, and a color filter arranged in the pixel region. The light blocking color filter may be formed simultaneously with the color filter, and may include color filter material having light blocking properties at various wavelengths to supplement the light blocking properties of the black matrix. The light blocking color filter occupies a portion of the non-pixel region and has a thickness so that the black matrix in the non-pixel region may have a thickness that is less than a thickness of the color filter arranged in the pixel region.
