    Abstract: A plug connector with latch means includes a casing, a mating portion and a latch means. The latch means consists of a lock member and a press member. The lock member has a lock arm, the front end of the lock arm projects sideward and defines a pawl, the back end projects sideward and defines a projection. The front end of the press member bends inward to define a press portion, the back end bends inward to define a blocking portion. To disengage the plug connector from the mating connector, the casing is pulled, the press member is driven to move backward along with the casing and the press portion presses the projection of the lock member, the projection is driven to move inward and drives the pawl move into the inlay cavity, thereby, the plug connector with latch means disengages from the mating connector easily.

    Abstract: A HDMI connector includes a dielectric housing, a plurality of terminals, a support board, an upper lid, a lower lid and wires. The dielectric housing has a plurality of terminal grooves extending from a front sidewall to a rear sidewall. The terminals are inserted into the terminal grooves. The support board connects with the rear sidewall of the dielectric housing. A plurality of channels are disposed on a top surface and a bottom surface thereon. The upper lid has a plurality of first clip grooves disposed on the lower surface, and a plurality of protrusions are formed therebetween. The lower lid has a plurality of second clip grooves disposed on the upper surface, and a plurality of protrusions are formed therebetween. The wires are arranged in the channels connecting with the terminals. The upper lid and the lower lid buckle with the channels to fix the wires in the channels.

    Abstract: A shielded surface mount connector mounted to a PCB includes a housing, a plurality of terminals and a shelter enclosing the housing. The housing provides a first protruding portion and a second protruding portion. The first and second protruding portions extend downwards respectively to form a first pillar and a second pillar. The shelter provides a first shielding portion and a second shielding portion for covering the first and second protruding portions respectively. The edges of the shielding portions extend downwards respectively to form a first inserting portion and a second inserting portion. As mentioned above, by inserting the first and second pillars and the two inserting portions into the corresponding holes of a PCB, the shielded surface mount connector is mounted to the edge of the PCB, which makes the electronic products much thinner due to the present invention, and saves more space of the PCB for other designs.

    Abstract: A plug connector with latch means includes a casing, a mating portion and a latch means. The latch means consists of a lock member and a press member.     Abstract: A receptacle connector is adapted for receiving a plug connector which includes a casing and a plurality of plug terminals disposed in the casing. The receptacle connector includes a printed circuit board and a shell mounted on the printed circuit board. Portions of a front edge of the printed circuit board are recessed inward to form two fixing grooves with a tongue formed therebetween. A plurality of golden fingers are formed on two opposite surfaces of the tongue. The shell has a top plate, a bottom plate opposite to the top plate and two side plates connecting the top plate to the bottom plate. A space is formed among the top plate, the bottom plate and the side plates and receives the tongue. The side plates are restricted in the fixing grooves. The plug connector is inserted into the space with the plug terminals electrically abutting against the golden fingers.
