Abstract: An interface operation method and a terminal are provided. The method includes detecting whether a touchscreen of a terminal is in an inclined state by using a gravity sensor or a gyroscope in the terminal. The method also includes moving, based on a predefined rule according to the inclined state of the touchscreen, a part or all of a first interface that is currently displayed to a user and is on a screen of the touchscreen to obtain a second interface when it is detected that the touchscreen of the terminal is in the inclined state, receiving an operation performed by the user on the second interface, and after the user completes the operation on the second interface, restoring the moved part or all of the first interface to a position prior to the movement.
