Abstract: An energy storage system and a method for correcting a state of charge value thereof. The correction method includes: a battery management unit sends parameter information of each of energy storage units to a power scheduling unit; the power scheduling unit determines, based on accumulated running durations and accumulated power-off durations of the energy storage units, a target energy storage unit requiring correction; the power scheduling unit delivers a power scheduling instruction to the target energy storage unit, to control the target energy storage unit to receive charging power or output discharging power; and the battery management unit monitors a voltage and a state of charge value of target energy storage units; and corrects the state of charge value of the target energy storage unit when the voltage or the state of charge value of the target energy storage unit meets a specified condition.
