Abstract: A method for tracking a terminal device having a cellular modem and a positioning module is disclosed. The method comprises monitoring a location of a terminal device through a cellular network using the cellular modem of the terminal device, while the positioning module of the terminal device is disabled; determining that the terminal device enters a first cell of the cellular network based on signals from the cellular modem; enabling the positioning module of the terminal device in response to the determination that the terminal device enters the first cell; and obtaining from the positioning module a first geographical location of the terminal device in the first cell.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a service optical signal transmission method, a network device, and an optical network. A network device includes a light source module. The light source module is connected to a plurality of wavelength selection modules. Each of the plurality of wavelength selection modules is connected to a respective first optical transceiver, and different wavelength selection modules are connected to different first optical transceivers. The light source module transmits M first optical signals to each of the plurality of wavelength selection modules, where M is a positive integer greater than 1. Each of the plurality of wavelength selection modules transmits K second optical signals to the respective first optical transceiver, where K is a positive integer less than or equal to M. The respective first optical transceiver modulates a service electrical signal on each of the K second optical signals to output K service optical signals.
