Abstract: The present disclosure discloses example broadcast beam processing methods and apparatuses. One example method includes sending a first broadcast beam. A first measurement report is received from a first terminal after the first broadcast beam is sent, and a weak coverage area of the first broadcast beam is determined based on the first measurement report. A second broadcast beam is then sent, where the second broadcast beam is used to cover the weak coverage area of the first broadcast beam.

Abstract: This application provides a method for adjusting a half-power angle of an antenna, to adjust a maximum half-power angle or a maximum beam gain of an individual transceiver channel. The method includes: first determining that M antenna elements in N antenna elements connected to a first transceiver channel of an access network device need to be turned on or off, where N>M≥1, and both N and M are integers, that is, a quantity of antenna elements driven by the first transceiver channel needs to be adjusted; and then sending first indication information to the access network device, where the first indication information is used to indicate to turn on or off the M antenna elements.

Abstract: This application provides a radio broadcast beam coverage enhancement method and apparatus. In some embodiments, the method includes: a base station determines at least one target traffic beam, where in an area covered by the at least one target traffic beam, data channel quality of at least one terminal is higher than a first threshold, and broadcast channel quality is lower than a second threshold. The base station transmits N first SSB beams in at least one BWP, where the N first SSB beams cover the area covered by the at least one target traffic beam, and N is an integer greater than or equal to 1. According to the foregoing method in this application, the at least one BWP can be configured for the area covered by the target traffic beam, to enhance an SSB signal in the area, so that the terminal can access a cell.
