    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for providing a service to a user are provided. The method mainly includes that a mobile communication system on a network side receives call information of calling a mobile terminal of a user and then calls the user according to stored location information corresponding to the mobile terminal of the user sent by an access gateway AG.
