Abstract:
A communication method, a base station, and user equipment are provided. The method includes: forming m beams by using a manner of antenna weighting, where m is a positive integer greater than 1; determining an uplink receive power of each beam according to an uplink sounding signal of UE; selecting n beams from the m beams according to the uplink receive power of each beam, where n is a positive integer, and n
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for controlling a carrier frequency in a multi-carrier/cell system are provided. The method includes receiving Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) information of a carrier frequency reported by a terminal, determining whether to deactivate or activate the carrier frequency according to the CQI information, and instructing the terminal to deactivate or activate the carrier frequency according to a result of the determining. Thus, a certain carrier frequency is flexibly activated or deactivated in the multi-carrier/cell system through carrier frequency quality reporting and threshold comparison.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a signal transmission method, apparatus, and base station. The method includes: sending downlink signals through N sectors, where the N sectors are created by using M sectors used to receive uplink signals, and N>M. In the embodiments of the present invention, the base station creates N sectors by using M sectors used to receive uplink signals and sends downlink signals through the N sectors, so that the multi-sector technology is mainly used in the downlink and the multi-antenna technology is mainly used in the uplink. This may resolve an existing conflict between the uplink and the downlink when system capacity is being improved, thereby improving system capacity of a wireless communication network.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a radio resource scheduling method and apparatus. When a sending end receives a NACK message fed back by a receiving end, the method includes acquiring, by the sending end, data whose response message is the NACK message as data to be retransmitted, where the data to be retransmitted includes at least one transport block; and determining, by the sending end according to a RLC status report sent by the receiving end, whether the receiving end successfully receives each transport block of the data to be retransmitted. If all the transport blocks of the data to be retransmitted are successfully received, canceling retransmission of the data to be retransmitted; or if not all the transport blocks of the data to be retransmitted are successfully received, retransmitting a transport block that is in the data to be retransmitted and is not successfully received.
