    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a synchronization method, a synchronization apparatus, and a base station, which can implement strict synchronization between base stations with relatively low costs and relatively high security and reliability. A control node obtains information about a time difference between at least one group of two adjacent network nodes in a to-be-synchronized area; determine, according to the information about the time difference between the two adjacent network nodes, a time adjustment value that needs to be used when a to-be-synchronized network node in the to-be-synchronized area is synchronized with a selected reference node; and send the determined time adjustment value to the to-be-synchronized network node, so that the to-be-synchronized network node adjusts time of the to-be-synchronized network node according to the corresponding time adjustment value. The control node is used to implement synchronization control on network nodes in the to-be-synchronized area.     Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an air-interface-based synchronization method, a base station and its control apparatus, and a wireless communications system. By taking advantage of active random access of user equipment, a time difference between base stations is acquired by detecting a random access preamble, and a time adjustment value of a non-reference base station is acquired according to the acquired time difference and reference time of a reference base station; and the non-reference base station performs time adjustment according to the acquired time adjustment value, to complete time synchronization with the reference base station. The present disclosure can easily and effectively implement air-interface-based synchronization between base stations by using an existing wireless network, thereby achieving a technical effect in a convenient and economic manner.

    Abstract: This application provides an isolation and recovery method and related network device for a case when one or more physical layer apparatuses (PHYs) in a flexible Ethernet group (FlexE group) are faulty. In the method, if a network device determines that a first overhead block corresponding to each current available PHY is stored in a corresponding memory, the network device determines that a FlexE group meets a PHY alignment condition, and starts to simultaneously read cached data from all memories. Therefore, there is no need to insert local fault LF code blocks to all clients, and there is no need to recreate a group. This effectively reduces the impact of a faulty PHY on client services carried by a normal PHY.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the communications field, and in particular, to frequency synchronization of base stations. In an example frequency synchronization method, a first base station obtains a second frequency offset of a second base station. The first base station then determines a frequency difference between the first base station and the second base station and a first frequency offset of the first base station based on the second frequency offset and the frequency difference. The first base station then performs frequency synchronization based on the first frequency offset. In some instances, the first base station can determine, through interaction between the first base station and the second base station, the first frequency offset of the first base station without depending on a synchronous Ethernet to perform frequency synchronization.
