Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of information technologies and disclose a link determining method, apparatus, and system for an optical packet switching system, which can reduce optical packet switching costs. The method includes: first, a control manager generates reference optical label information and an enabling signal, and sends the reference optical label information and the enabling signal to a link determining device; then, when the enabling signal is active, the link determining device determines, according to parsed-out actual optical label information and the received reference optical label information, whether an alarm signal is generated, and if it is determined that the alarm signal is generated, sends the alarm signal to the control manager; and finally, the control manager further determines, according to the received alarm signal, whether a link corresponding to the alarm signal is abnormal.

A data processing method comprises: separately performing inner-code encoding on n first data streams to obtain n second data streams, where the n second data streams include n inner-code codewords from the n second data streams, the n inner-code codewords include n/m codeword sets, each of the codeword sets includes m inner-code codewords, and each of the inner-code codewords includes N bits; separately performing bit interleaving on the n/m codeword sets to obtain n/m target bit sets; and separately mapping m×N bits in each of the target bit sets to obtain m×N/L modulation symbols, to obtain n×N/L modulation symbols, where every L bits are mapped to one modulation symbol, and the L bits in the modulation symbol are from L inner-code codewords, wherein the L bits in the modulation symbol are from information bits in the inner-code codewords.

Every a codewords obtained through the first FEC encoding are distributed in b lane data streams, where a≤b≤n, and a≥1. z consecutive symbols in each of the first data streams are from z different codewords, and z>1. Then, every K first data streams of the n first data streams are multiplexed to obtain one second data stream, so as to obtain a total of m second data streams. The present invention discloses a data processing method and apparatus, which relate to the communications field and can reduce a delay and energy consumption for data processing in a data exchange process of an optical network. A specific solution is: obtaining a to-be-processed optical data packet; obtaining an optical label from the to-be-processed optical data packet; determining, according to the optical label, whether an optical signal data frame is a data frame of a preset type; if the optical signal data frame is the data frame of the preset type, obtaining a port corresponding to a label destination address according to an optical label destination address and generating an optical switching instruction; and outputting the to-be-processed optical data packet through a target port according to the optical switching instruction. The present invention is used for data processing.

An optical transmission system and transmission method, an optical switching apparatus, and a control method are provided. Any data transmission apparatus included in an optical transmission system is configured to: transmit an optical label signal and a continuous data signal including an idle sequence and a data packet, and transmit the transmitted optical label signal to an optical switching apparatus, so that the optical switching apparatus builds, according to the optical label signal, a switching and transmission path for transmitting the continuous data signal transmitted by the any data transmission apparatus. This ensures that a data transmission apparatus transmits a continuous data signal, and also ensures that each optical receiving system can receive the continuous data signal. Therefore, no preamble needs to be added before a data packet carried in a to-be-processed data signal, thereby avoiding a resource waste and saving bandwidth resources.

The optical-to-electrical conversion unit is configured to perform optical-to-electrical conversion on a first optical data packet and an optical label, where the optical label carries switching information of a second optical data packet, and the first optical data packet and the second optical data packet are respectively to-be-switched data packets that need to use electrical packet switching and optical packet switching. The identification unit is configured to identify whether an electrical signal output by the optical-to-electrical conversion unit is from the optical label or the first optical data packet.

The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for data packet switching, and an access switch and a switching system, so as to satisfy requirements of a datacenter for a switching bandwidth and a switching granularity. The method includes: receiving MAC frame control information; determining an interface used for forwarding an MAC frame according to the MAC frame control information and through performing a query on a MAC address forwarding table, where the interface used for forwarding the MAC frame includes a downlink interface, an uplink electrical packet switching network interface and/or an uplink optical packet switching network interface; transmitting a control signal to an electrical packet switching unit, so that the MAC frame is forwarded to the determined interface. According to the method provided in the present invention, the utilization rate of each interface can be improved.
