Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide example communication methods and example devices. One example method includes sending information to a first node, where the information includes at least one of information about a first group of logical channel identities (LCIDs) or information about a second group of LCIDs, the first group of LCIDs includes an LCID used for access traffic, and the second group of LCIDs includes an LCID used for backhaul traffic. Another information can then be sent to the first node, where the another information is used to configure a radio link control (RLC) bearer of the first node, the RLC bearer includes a RLC layer entity and a logical channel, and when an LCID corresponding to the logical channel belongs to the first group of LCIDs, an upper protocol layer of a RLC layer is a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer or an F1 interface protocol layer.

Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method and apparatus, to reduce wastes of transmission resources. The method includes: receiving, by a first node, a data packet from an air interface, where the first node is a wireless backhaul node, and the wireless backhaul node is configured to provide a wireless backhaul service for a node that wirelessly accesses the wireless backhaul node; duplicating, by the first node, the data packet to obtain M data packets, where M is an integer greater than 1; and splitting, by the first node, the M data packets, and sending the M data packets to a second node through at least two paths. This application relates to the field of communications technologies.

Abstract: This application provides a data processing method and device, to implement bearer mapping of control plane signaling of user equipment on each interface. An IAB system includes a centralized unit CU, a distributed unit DU, a first IAB node, and a second IAB node. The method includes: generating, by the CU, a downlink F1AP message, where a message included in the downlink F1AP message is one or a combination of the following: an F1AP message of a terminal device, an F1AP message of the first IAB node, and an RRC message of the second IAB node; and sending, by the CU, the downlink F1AP message to the DU, and indicating that a message type of the message included in the downlink F1AP message is one of the following: an RRC message type, an F1AP message type, or an RRC message type and an F1AP message type.

Abstract: This application provides a method of determining an association between logical channel groups, including: The first backhaul node receives a first buffer status report from a first device, where the first buffer status report is used to determine uplink buffer statuses of one or more first logical channel groups of a MAC entity corresponding to the first backhaul node and the first device. The first backhaul node determines, based on the first logical channel group(s) and a first mapping relationship, one or more second logical channel groups associated with the first logical channel group(s), where a second device is a parent node of the first backhaul node, and the first mapping relationship includes a mapping relationship between the first logical channel group(s) and the second logical channel group(s) of a MAC entity corresponding to the first backhaul node and the second device.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, a communication method applied to a first node includes: receiving first information from a second node, wherein the first information comprises an available space size in a first buffer space of the second node, the first buffer space is for buffering a data packet that is to be transmitted through a first path, the first path is a primary path for transmitting the data packet, and the second node is a next-hop node of the first node on the primary path; and in response to the available space size in the first buffer space being less than or equal to a first threshold, determining to transmit the data packet through a third node, wherein the third node is a next-hop node of the first node on a backup path for transmitting the data packet.
