    摘要： A backlight assembly includes a light source part, a total reflection plate and an array sheet. The light source part generates light. The total reflection plate totally internally reflects or transmits the light selectively according to an incident path of the light. The array sheet disposed on the total reflection plate includes a plurality of units having an incident surface making contact with the total reflection plate and an emitting surface facing the incident surface, refracts the totally internally reflected light at a contact surface between the incident surface and the total reflection plate to emit the refracted light, and emits the transmitted light as a non-refracted light. Accordingly, luminance of the display device is enhanced.

    摘要： A liquid crystal display includes: a liquid crystal panel; a plurality of first light sources disposed below the liquid crystal panel; a first diffusion member disposed between the liquid crystal panel and the first light sources; a plurality of second light sources disposed below the liquid crystal panel and which emit a sensing signal toward the liquid crystal panel; and a plurality of sensors disposed in or below the liquid crystal panel. The sensing signal emitted from the plurality of second light sources toward the liquid crystal panel is reflected by an object disposed above the liquid crystal panel and is detected by the plurality of sensors before transmitting through the first diffusion member away from the liquid crystal panel such that a shape of the object is determined based on the sensing signal reflected from the object and detected by the plurality of sensors.

    摘要： A display device includes a first unit pixel disposed in a first pixel column and a first pixel row, and a second unit pixel disposed in the first pixel column and a second pixel row adjacent to the first pixel row, and first and second gate lines extending in a row direction and having gate voltage input pads at a terminal portion thereof. First and second data lines extend in a column direction and are connected to the first unit pixel and the second unit pixel, respectively. A first charge control line extends in the row direction and has a charge control gate voltage input pad disposed at a terminal portion thereof. The first gate line is connected to the first unit pixel and the second gate line is connected to the second unit pixel. The first gate line and the second gate line simultaneously receive a same gate pulse.

The pixels receive the normal data signal in response to the first gate signal and receive the impulsive data signal in response to the second gate signal. The gate lines are divided into a first group and a second group adjacent to the first group. An order in which the first gate signal is transmitted to the gate lines in the first group is different from an order in which the first gate signal is transmitted to the gate lines in the second group.

A gray voltage generator generates reference gray voltages. The control signal includes a selection signal. A data driver generates gray voltages based on the reference gray voltage, selects a gray voltage corresponding to the image signal among the generated gray voltages, and applies the selected gray voltage to a pixel as a first data voltage. The data driver applies a black data voltage corresponding to a black image to the pixel according to the selection signal.

The display device includes an image signal processing unit to receive a primitive image signal having a first frequency and to output a 4× image signal having a second frequency. The second frequency is four times the first frequency. The display device includes a display panel displaying an image corresponding to the 4× image signal. The primitive image signal includes an (n−1)-th frame (where n is a natural number) and an n-th frame. The image signal processing unit includes a first image interpolation unit and second image interpolation unit, which receive the (n−1)-th frame and the n-th frame and output a 2× image signal including at least one interpolated frame.
