A toner conveying unit and an electrophotographic image forming apparatus having the toner conveying unit are provided. The electrophotographic image forming apparatus temporarily stores a toner image on a photoreceptor in an image forming process and forms an image by transferring the toner image of an image receptor onto a sheet of paper. The toner conveying unit includes: a duct connecting a first point and a second point in the electrophotographic image forming apparatus; a conveying belt located in the duct and includes a plurality of protrusions for effectively conveying toner along a length of the duct; and a support member which is located at the inside of the conveying belt to prevent or inhibit the conveying belt from curving.

The image scanning device includes a document board on which documents to be scanned are placed, a scanning unit which is installed on a lower portion of the document board to be linearly reciprocated, and comprises a scanner including a light guide for irradiating light to the documents, and light emitting devices that are separated from both ends of the light guide and irradiate light, and an image sensor for receiving the light emitted from the scanning unit, wherein, loss of the light emitted from the light emitting devices is compensated for by increasing intensity of electric current supplied to the light emitting devices as a distance between the light emitting devices and the light guide increases.

A method of manufacturing a thermal inkjet printhead. The method includes forming on a substrate a chamber layer having an ink chamber, forming a sacrificial layer on the chamber layer wherein the sacrificial layer fills the ink chamber, and planarizing a top surface of the sacrificial layer and of the chamber layer using a primary Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP) process until the sacrificial layer and the chamber layer attain a desired height, wherein a slurry is used in the primary CMP process that includes polishing particles having an average particle size of 500 nm˜2 μm.
