    摘要: A cutting apparatus includes a housing formed with an insertion hole, a transfer unit configured to transfer an object inserted through the insertion hole, a reading unit configured to read an image of the object, a platen located opposite the reading unit, and a cutting unit. The reading unit includes a light-transmitting plate. The housing encloses the reading unit, the transfer unit, the platen and the cutting unit. The platen includes a part openable and closable so that a surface of the light-transmitting plate is externally exposed. The platen includes a first platen having a flat surface and a second platen which has a flat surface and is opposed to the surface of the light-transmitting plate and is openable and closable. The second platen is engaged with the first platen so that the flat surface of the second platen is flush with the flat surface of the first platen.

    摘要: An image scanning device, an image forming apparatus including the image scanning device, and a method of controlling image quality in the image scanning device are provided. The image scanning device includes a document board on which documents to be scanned are placed, a scanning unit which is installed on a lower portion of the document board to be linearly reciprocated, and comprises a scanner including a light guide for irradiating light to the documents, and light emitting devices that are separated from both ends of the light guide and irradiate light, and an image sensor for receiving the light emitted from the scanning unit, wherein, loss of the light emitted from the light emitting devices is compensated for by increasing intensity of electric current supplied to the light emitting devices as a distance between the light emitting devices and the light guide increases.

    摘要: An erecting equal-magnification lens array plate includes: a first lens array plate and a second lens array plate each provided with a plurality of convex lenses on both surfaces; a first light-shielding member provided with a plurality of first openings; and a second light-shielding member provided with a plurality of second openings. The first lens array plate and the second lens array plate form a stack such that a combination of the lenses associated with each other form a coaxial lens system. The first light-shielding member is provided on the first lens array plate such that the first opening is located opposite to the corresponding convex lens. The second light-shielding member is provided on the second lens array plate such that the second opening is located opposite to the corresponding fourth lens. An open end of each of the first opening and the second opening facing the lens is formed to become progressively larger in diameter toward the end.

The plurality of light emitting elements includes the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element that is disposed on an opposite side of the first light emitting element with the reference line interposed therebetween. A distance between the first light emitting element and the reference line is the same as a distance between the second light emitting element and the reference line.

    摘要: A modularized light-guiding apparatus and manufacturing method, which may make the light of a light source proceed at least twice light reflections of predetermined directions. The light-guiding apparatus includes a plurality of modularized reflection elements, which may be differentiated to several different types of reflection element. Each type of each reflection element all has substantially same adjoining device and edge size for providing to be adjoined and piled-up with another reflection element. But, the reflection element of different type individually has different number of reflection plane for providing the light to proceed different times of light reflection. It may determined the light reflection times and light-path length for the light-guiding apparatus, by choosing several different types of reflection element among plural reflection elements to proceed the piling-up for the light-guiding apparatus.
