摘要： A secondary battery that includes a cylindrical can, an electrode assembly arranged in a jelly-role configuration within the cylindrical can and having a core extending about an axis thereof and a hollow center pin arranged within the core of the electrode assembly and having an inner diameter and an outer diameter, the outer diameter forming ones of a pair of radial lengths diametrically opposite from each other, each of said pair of radial lengths extending from the outer diameter of the center pin to an external surface of the core, wherein the sum of the pair of radial lengths is in the range of 5% to 54% of the inner diameter of the center pin.

摘要： A rechargeable battery is disclosed. In one embodiment, the battery includes i) a current collecting plate, ii) a plurality of electrode assemblies electrically connected in parallel with each other via the current collecting plate, wherein each of the electrode assemblies comprises two opposing ends and an outer side formed between the two ends, and wherein the current collecting plate is electrically connected to one of the two ends of the electrode assemblies. The battery may further includes 1) a spacer and 2) a can configured to accommodate i) the current collecting plate, ii) the plurality of electrode assemblies and iii) the spacer, wherein the spacer is positioned i) between adjacent electrode assemblies and/or ii) between an inner surface of the can and at least one of the electrode assemblies, and wherein the spacer comprises at least one non-linear portion which contacts the outer side of at least one of the electrode assemblies.
