摘要： A method and an apparatus for estimating an offset are provided. The method includes determining one of a frequency offset and a timing offset to be estimated first for pilot symbols detected from a received signal, estimating one of the frequency offset and the timing offset for the pilot symbols according to the determination, compensating for an offset of the pilot symbols based on the estimated offset, and estimating remaining one of the frequency offset and the timing offset which is not estimated for the offset compensated pilot symbols.

摘要： A channel estimation method of a channel estimation apparatus in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes predefining a plurality of weight tables about at least one of a speed and a Carrier to Interference-and-Noise Ratio (CINR) using a correlation value considering offset compensation; selecting a weight table to be used for channel estimation based on at least one of the estimated speed and the CINR, from the plurality of weight tables; and multiplying a pilot channel estimation value and the selected weight table, and performing data channel estimation.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for receiving a random access signal in a base station of a wireless communication system are provided. The apparatus for receiving the signal includes a control signal extractor for extracting the random access signal from a signal received via an antenna, at least one sequence generator for generating at least one sequence by multiplying the random access signal by at least one candidate sequence, a sequence selector for selecting at least one sequence to detect by differentially correlating sequence components at an adjacent subcarrier location with respect to each sequence, and a detector for detecting the at least one selected sequence.

摘要： An apparatus and method estimate a high speed frequency offset in a wireless communication system. The apparatus includes a correlator, an accumulator, a phase calculator, and a frequency offset coupler. The correlator performs a first correlation and a second correlation based on a first reference signal and a second reference signal. The accumulator accumulates results of the correlations. The phase calculator calculates a first phase and a second phase from the accumulated first correlation value and the accumulated second correlation value. The frequency offset coupler determines whether a frequency offset deviates from a frequency offset estimate range based on a difference between the first phase and the second phase, and compensates the frequency offset according to the determination result. The apparatus can estimate a frequency offset within an error allowable range under an environment where a terminal moves at high speed.
