摘要： An apparatus of adjusting height of a headrest for a motor vehicle is provided. By forming the headrest with two divided parts, a rear portion fastened to a seatback by a stay and a front portion assembled to the rear portion movably in an up and down direction, the apparatus allows an occupant to adjust the height of the front portion according to his or her body size or preference, and thus is configured for comfortably supporting the head or neck portion of the occupant with the front portion regardless of the body size of the occupant.

摘要： In a seat reclining device, a seatback frame forming a skeleton of a seatback is coupled to a seat cushion frame to be rotatable about a shaft with respect to the seat cushion frame. One end portion of a first sliding bracket is rotatably coupled to a middle portion of the seatback frame by a driving unit. The other end portion of the first sliding bracket extends toward a vehicle body located behind the seatback. A second sliding bracket is mounted on the vehicle body located behind the seatback and extends toward the first sliding bracket in a front and rear longitudinal direction to be connected to the first sliding bracket. The second sliding bracket is configured to guide a sliding movement of the first sliding bracket while the first sliding bracket is being rotated.

摘要： A vehicle and a method controlling the same are provided to detect a seat jamming or a short-circuit of a seat control system. The vehicle includes a motor that rotates forward or backward to fold a seatback of a seat toward a seat cushion or unfold the seatback from the seat cushion. A current sensor sense an output current of the motor and a controller determine a seat jamming or a short-circuit of an output of the motor based on a magnitude of the output current sensed for a predetermined period of time during forward or backward rotation of the motor.

摘要： A seat cushion extension apparatus for a vehicle seat includes an extension unit slidable from a front end portion of a seat frame in a vehicle to a position disposed forwards of the front end portion of the seat frame, locking units for locking the extension unit with respect to the seat frame at a locking position, and allowing the extension unit to be slidable such that the extension unit protrudes forwards of the seat frame at a release position, and a lever for controlling the locking units between the locking position and the release position. The extension unit is supported by guide shafts to be movable forwards and rearwards in housings fixed to the seat frame. The guide shafts are locked in the housings at the locking position and are movable with respect to the seat frame at the release position.
