摘要: An apparatus and a method for controlling a motor-driven power steering system can inhibit a change in steering feeling which may be caused by abrasion and degradation of components in the motor-driven power steering system, and maintain initial steering feeling. The method determines a torque compensation amount by comparing a reference value with change ratio average data of steering torque with respect to a steering angle, and compensates for driver input torque in accordance with the determined torque compensation amount, such that it is possible to effectively inhibit the change in steering feeling which may be caused by abrasion and degradation of components, and maintain the initial steering feeling.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for controlling the position of a vehicle to ensure stable position of a vehicle against tilting due to a rapid change in vehicle speed. The method includes: determining whether a vehicle speed is rapidly changing in a straight direction on the basis of an extent of depression of a pedal that changes a position of a steering wheel and a change in vehicle speed; determining whether the vehicle is tilting on the basis of a change in a yaw-rate by means of the controller when the vehicle speed is rapidly changing in the straight direction; and providing compensation torque in the direction opposite the direction in which the vehicle is tilted by operating a steering motor when the controller determines that the vehicle is tilting.

摘要: A method of adjusting friction of an MDPS unit may include detecting road surface conditions of a road on which a vehicle travels; classifying the road on which the vehicle travels into a normal road, a low frictional road, a road having a first uneven road surface, and a road having a second uneven road surface; and reducing friction of the MDPS unit of the vehicle when the road on which the vehicle travels is determined as the road having the first uneven road surface.
