Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to adaptation of secure sounding signal. A device may determine a negotiated bandwidth to be used when communicating with a first station device. The device may determine a first bit stream used to generate a cyclic shift diversity (CSD) value based on the negotiated bandwidth, wherein a first number of bits is used for the first bit stream when a first negotiated bandwidth is used, and wherein a second number of bits is used for the first bit stream when a second negotiated bandwidth is used. The device may determine a second bit stream used to generate a random phase. The device may determine a secure a long training field (LTF) based on a combination of the first bit stream and the second bit stream. The device may cause to send a frame to the first station device, wherein the frame comprises the secure LTF.

Abstract: A method and apparatus to estimate and mitigate platform noise incurred at a wireless device coupled to the platform. A computing device includes a platform including a first processor, a wireless device coupled to the platform, the wireless device including a second processor, and a plurality of antennas coupled to the wireless device. At least one of the first processor or the second processor is configured to determine characteristics of a platform noise incurred at the wireless device in real-time due to utilization of circuitries and processing components on the platform and implement an adaptive real-time and application/context-aware measure to mitigate the platform noise based on the determined characteristics of the platform noise.

Abstract: Provided is a method for location-based access control in a wireless network. The location of a user device is determined based on a Channel State Information (CSI) matrix of the user device as trusted or untrusted. Based on the trust state, which is trusted or untrusted, of the user device, access control is performed. In some examples, in order to determine the trust state of the user device, the CSI matrix of the user device needs to be input into a machine learning model or be compared with CSI matrices corresponding to multiple trusted locations using a similarity measure. Because the access control is based on the location of the user device, the conveniency and accuracy of the access control could be better than that made by some other security measures, such as password-based mechanisms.

Abstract: A Bluetooth receiver is provided. The Bluetooth receiver comprises interface circuitry configured to receive a receive packet. Further, the Bluetooth receiver comprises physical layer processing circuitry configured to demodulate the receive packet into a bit stream representing a sequence of data symbols. Further, the physical layer configured to determine a number of bits in the bit stream having a highest likelihood of being erroneous as weak-bits and determine locations of the identified weak-bits in the bit stream. The Bluetooth receiver further comprises medium access control layer processing circuitry configured to receive the bit stream and information about the determined locations of the identified weak-bits from the physical layer processing circuitry. Further, the medium access control layer is configured to flip one of the weak-bits and a sequential bit in the bit stream in order to generate a modified bit stream, run a respective cyclic redundancy check on the bit stream and the modified bit stream and compare results of the cyclic redundancy checks on the bit stream and on the modified bit stream.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to scrambler initialization for multi-user (MU) clear to send (CTS) transmission. A first device may identify a MU request to send (RTS) frame received from a second device. The first device may determine an initial state of a scrambler based on the first 7 bits of a service field of the MU-RTS frame. The first device may cause first data to be scrambled, using the initial state of the scrambler, resulting in second data. The first device may cause to send a MU-CTS frame that comprises the second data to the second device.
