    Abstract: Systems, apparatus, articles of manufacture, and methods are disclosed. An example includes interface circuitry to access an image frame from a video stream during a presentation of the video stream, the image frame depicting a face; machine-readable instructions; and at least one processor circuit to be programmed by the machine-readable instructions to: determine that the face is associated with at least one of a person-specific privacy policy or a group privacy policy; obtain an obfuscation rule from the at least one of the person-specific privacy policy or the group privacy policy; determine an obfuscation state for the face in the video stream based on at least one of the obfuscation rule or a system operator policy; and cause the presentation of the video stream to depict the face based on the obfuscation state.

In one embodiment, the system includes a risk behavior logic to detect a potential problem, a core logic component to provide logic to analyze the potential problem and to move the platform to a suspecting mode when the potential problem indicates a theft suspicion, and the security action logic, to send periodic alerts to a security server when the platform is in the suspecting mode, the alert including movement related data, such that the security server can take an action to protect the platform.

    Abstract: The disclosure generally relates method, system and apparatus to expedite processing of packet data through a network endpoint. In one embodiment, the disclosure relates to an Inline Security Engine (ISE) which may be deployed at network's edge, for example, at a network interface card or a network adaptor. The exemplary ISE may be configured to receive and analyze packets traversing through the endpoint device for compliance with the encryption protocols and other network requirements. Additionally, the ISE may implement steps to increase security of the data if the analysis suggests that the encryption may be weak or faulty or if certain predefined security rules are violated. All processes are implemented inline and at line speed without diminishing the data rate.
