摘要: A cryptanalysis method comprising: (A) Performing a ciphertext-only direct cryptanalysis of A5/1 and (B) Using results of Step (A) to facilitate the decryption and/or encryption of further communications that are consistent with encryption using the session key and/or decryption using the session key, wherein the cryptanalysis considers part of the bits of the session key to have a known fixed value, and wherein the cryptanalysis finds the session key. An efficient known plaintext attack on A5/2 comprises trying all the possible values for R4, and for each such value solving the linearized system of equations that describe the output; The solution of the equations gives the internal state of R1, R2, and R3; Together with R4, this gives the full internal state which gives a suggestion for the key.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a method in a Lawful Intercept, LI, management system for removing redundant content of communication, CC flows. Said LI management system is capable of receiving and handling one or more CC flows generated from intercepted target communication sessions. Each CC flow comprises a flow of data packets, each data packet comprising a flow identity of the CC flow. The flow identity comprises an address of a sending intercept access point, IAP, at least one target identifier, TID, and a communication session Correlation Identifier, CI. The method enables the LI management system to forward only one CC flow of CC flows having identical TID and CI, respectively, but different sending intercept access points.

In one embodiment, for example, an evolved node B (eNB) may comprise a processor circuit, a communication component for execution by the processor circuit to receive a channel quality index for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), the channel quality index associated with a defined reference resource, and a selection component for execution by the processor circuit to select a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for transmission over the PDSCH of user equipment (UE) data in one or more resource blocks, the selection component to compensate for a difference between a cell-specific reference signal (CRS) overhead of the defined reference resource and a CRS overhead of the one or more resource blocks when selecting the MCS. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

A wireless local area network (WLAN) access point (AP) may include a performance measurement module to measure the number of User Equipment (UEs) connected to the WLAN AP for data traffic offload and further to measure packet throughput from the UEs to the WLAN AP; a measurement granularity timer to trigger the performance measurement module to perform the measurements; a performance report generation module to generate a WLAN report based on the measurements provided from the performance measurement module; and a performance report timer to trigger the performance report generation module to generate the WLAN report.

摘要: A roaming method that enables the home network (HPMN) to use S8 Home Routed (S8HR) model for out-bound roaming while the visited network (VPMN) uses Local Breakout (LBO) model for in-bound roaming. An IMS Roaming Gateway (IR-GW) establishes an IMS bearer between the IR-GW and the home network's Packet Data Network Gateway (P-GW). The IR-GW replaces the source IP address on the SIP-Register message with the client IP address assigned to the UE by the HPMN P-GW. Upon receiving a SIP-Response message responsive to successful authentication of the UE with the HPMN, the IR-GW inserts its own IP address into the SIP-Response message and forwards it to the UE. IR-GW performs network address translation (NAT) between the source IP assigned to the UE by the VPMN and the client IP assigned to the UE by the HPMN.

For example, some embodiments relate to interception of communications including interception for encrypted, transcoded media. A method may include identifying a network node that provides call content interception. The method may also include determining a codec type used at a location of the call content interception at the network node. The method may further include sending a matched codec of the codec type used at the location of the call content interception at the network node to a delivery function in the communications network.
