Abstract: For example, a wireless communication device may be configured to disable a per-antenna Cyclic Shift Diversity (CSD) insertion for a Long Training Field (LTF) of a Physical Layer (PHY) Protocol Data Unit (PPDU), for example, based on a determination that the PPDU is to be configured for a predefined type of channel-sounding-based measurement. For example, the per-antenna CSD insertion may include insertion of a CSD between a plurality of transmit chains of the wireless communication device. For example, the wireless communication device may be configured to transmit the LTF of the PPDU via the plurality of transmit chains with the per-antenna CSD insertion disabled.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices for probabilistic constellation shaping in wireless transmissions may include a device configured to generate, using a first quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) order shaping encoder associated with a first code rate, shaped amplitude bits; generate, using a forward error correcting (FEC) encoder and a second code rate smaller than the first code rate, parity bits for the shaped amplitude bits; cause to transmit, using a channel, a first portion of the parity bits as sign bits for the shaped amplitude bits; and cause to transmit, using the channel, a second portion of the parity bits.

Abstract: The application relates to an apparatus and method used in Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs). The apparatus includes: a wireless interface; and processor circuitry coupled to the wireless interface and configured to: generate a Physical layer Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) with a Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) coding scheme; and provide the PPDU to the wireless interface for transmitting, wherein the PPDU comprises one special codeword and more than one regular codeword and does not comprise a padding bit before Forward Error Correction (FEC) codes, and the regular codeword has a fixed codeword size, which can be different from a codeword size of the special codeword.
