摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to multi-link traffic steering. A device may establish one or more links with a station multi-link device (STA MLD), wherein the STA MLD comprises one or more logical entities defining separate station devices. The device may generate a traffic indication map (TIM) bitmap of a plurality of bits, wherein one or more bits are associated with an association identification (AID) corresponding to the STA MLD. The device may set the one or more bits to a first value to indicate that there is data to be retrieved by the STA MLD on any of the one or more links. The device may generate one or more beacon frames each comprising a same TIM element, wherein the TIM element comprises the TIM bitmap. The device may cause to send one or more beacon frames on each of the one or more links.

摘要: Logic may enable client devices or access points to relay medium access control (MAC) frames through a Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) Direct network such as a network of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) connections to extend the wireless range of the devices or access points beyond the transmission range of the individual devices or access points. Logic may extend the range of IEEE 802.11 devices, such as IEEE 802.11ah devices, by allowing a station in the middle of two stations to serve as a relay station using the Wi-Fi Direct technology. Logic may enable relaying to avoid a full mesh technology such as is defined in IEEE 802.11s, since the full mesh technology may contain too many features that are not required for a simple or a static network configuration of such embodiments.

摘要: A non-access point (AP) station (STA) may be configured for receipt of a multi-user physical layer protocol data unit (MU-PPDU) with network coding. The STA may decode at least portions of a MU-PPDU received from an access point (AP). The MU-PPDU may comprise a first data portion addressed to the STA, a second data portion addressed to a second STA2, and a parity portion addressed to both the stations. The parity portion may be generated by the AP based on a network coding of the first and second data portions. When the first data portion is received by the STA with errors, the STA may attempt to recover the first data portion using both the parity portion and the second data portion.

摘要: Provided herein is ultra-low latency (ULL) PHY/MAC design for IEEE 802.11. The disclosure provides an apparatus, comprising: interface circuitry; and processor circuitry coupled with the interface circuitry, wherein the processor circuitry is to: encode a ULL packet; and cause transmission of the ULL packet to an Access Point (AP) via the interface circuitry in an unlicensed spectrum, wherein a duration of the ULL packet is less than 20 microseconds. Other embodiments may also be disclosed and claimed.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for a common preamble for wireless local-area networks (WLANs). An apparatus of an access point (AP) or station (STA) comprising processing circuitry configured to decode a portion of a physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU), the first portion of the PPDU including a physical universal signal field (U-SIG), the U-SIG comprising a version independent portion and a version dependent portion, the version independent portion including a version identifier field, the version identifier field indicating a standard version of the PPDU. The processing circuitry is further configured to refrain from decoding the version dependent portion when the standard version indicates a standard version of a later generation than a standard version of the AP or STA, and otherwise decode the version dependent portion in accordance with the standard version.

摘要: Methods, devices, and systems for retransmission of wake-up signals from a first station to a second station over a wireless network are disclosed. In some aspects, a wake-up signal is encoded for transmission to the second station. While the first station is waiting for an acknowledgment of the wake-up signal from the second station, the second station may retransmit the wake up signal and/or encode a packet for transmission to a third station. In some aspects, whether the wake-up signal is retransmitted is based in part, on at least one of whether a number of timeout events for wake-up signals transmitted to the second station exceeds a maximum timeouts threshold, whether a number of wake-up signals transmitted to the second station exceeds a maximum wake-up signals threshold; or whether a maximum predetermined elapsed time since a first wake-up signal was transmitted to the second station is exceeded.
